Active Property commenced trading in November 2010 after the merger of The Home Loan Centre Realty (specialist sales) and HLC Properties (specialist property management).

HLC Properties was launched in 2005 to provide management services to clients of The Home Loan Centre. In 2007 The Home Loan Centre Realty was launched to provide real estate sales and marketing services to the client offering. The decision to merge the businesses and re-brand as Active Property reflects an expansion of the real estate business publicly and in addition to servicing clients of The Home Loan Centre.

The Home Loan Centre was the first finance provider to be inducted into The ACT Real Estate Institute's Hall of Fame and we have applied the award winning standards in the development of our real estate businesses. Between 2005 and 2010 the real estate offering was improved and expanded resulting in the emergence of Active Property.

Active Property aims to stand out from our competitors in the Canberra real estate market through our excellent communication. We actively engage our clients throughout the selling process. We framed our motto “expect the best” to set the standard to which our clients keep us accountable.

All finance requirements can be covered by The Home Loan Centre, and a full range of risk insurance products are provided by HLC Financial Solutions.
